Finly's Story

Finly Rae Budach was born December 17th, 2010 in Rochester, MN. She was a first grader at the Elementary School in Ellendale, MN where she loved and enjoyed everything about school especially reading and writing. Outside of school, she could always be found with her little brother Reed. She had more than enough imagination for the both of them as he would follow his big sister anywhere. In November of 2017, Finly was diagnosed with ASD, atrial septal defect, which meant she had a hole in her heart. So, on March 8th, 2018 Finly underwent open heart surgery. Everything went great and according to plan. We couldn't have been more proud of our little girl for her bravery and courage. Then on March 14th, our special little girl lost her life due to very tragic and unforeseen issues. On March 17th she was taken off life support. And although Finly has been blessed to move on to her eternal home in heaven with our Lord, she continues to work her magic here on Earth as only Finly can.
